Hi, I’m Prince, founder of BANARASIBUNKAR and this is my story.
A person name Haji Azimuddin had a single aim in the late 1980s as he made his way through the congested alleys of Banaras (now Varanasi): to elevate creativity. He saw his father as an essential member of the weaver’s community while growing up in a labor-dominated environment, which helped to establish the groundwork for the groundbreaking Banarasi Handloom Sarees. And today, this equates to nothing less than international renown.
By using his initials as an acronym, he launched his company to become BANARASI BUNKAR, the brand it is today. In the majority of southern India, our elders have been providing patronage with quality and confidence for nearly 90 years
